LED streetlight infrastructure upgrade project focused on enhanced safety and illumination along a key intersection in West Edmonton.
Project Details
This EPCOR-coordinated project involved the decommissioning of legacy luminaires and the installation of new 77W LED streetlights on galvanized davit poles. The system operates on a 60A, 120/240V service. Work included new conduit trenching, bonding, and grounding compliant with the City of Edmonton Volume 6 Road & Walkway Lighting Standards. Streetlight circuits were re-routed, luminaires permanently disconnected and replaced, and future-proofed with capped conduits for circuit expansion. Coordination with DES Engineering and Utilitek ensured compliance and minimal disruption to the corridor.
